“The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.” The 26th amendment approved that in order to vote, you must be 18 years or older instead of 21. Because of this amendment, citizens 18 years or older were allowed to vote. |
